With the environment in our sights
It is important for us and for coming generations that we contribute in what ever way we can to improving the environment. We at Gustafs therefore work daily in our production process with an active environmental policy. The Gustafs panel consists of over 98% natural materials such as gypsum and wood. The use of chemical agents is restricted to adhesives and lacquer for the surface finish. Thanks to active choices of environmentally friendly materials and methods, we reduced negative effects on the environment.
Our environmental works is governed by current legislation, rules and contracts to determine a minimum level of achievement. Our ambition however is to always operate below the minimum level where ever it is economically and practically possibleenvironmental work includes our ambitions to reduce and hinder health and safety threats for our workforce. This is achieved through an open cooperation between employer and employees which results in regular environmental and safety audits. These stimulated and develop improvements in the area of HSE. We value an open dialog together with our personnel, suppliers and customers to achieve a higher level of environmental consciousness.
